Fairmont, MN company Railway Motors/Harsco is synonomous in the rail industry as a leader building equipment used to lay and repair railroad track. This picture of the very rail that facilitated the transportation of that equipment across the country to help build one of the largest transportation infrastructures in the world. Don't let this picture of peacefulness fool you. It was a real powerhouse in its day.
